    CLIONA CASSIDY & GEORGE BURT at Bitches Brew #4 - 21.4.16 Jazz Bar, Edinburgh, 9pm. Cliona Cassidy is an experimental vocalist with vivid folk roots and an operatic edge. George Burt began playing guitar in the rich and diverse Scottish folk and jazz scenes. Since beginning to work together in the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra, these two improvisers have played together in a variety of settings. Tonight they combine their talents in a spontaneously composed duet.

  2. Creaking
    New Dance Theatre show for #Bealtaine16, Theatre at Pavilion Theatre gallery space, Dublin During Bealtaine 2016, the creators of a new dance theatre show, CREAKING, will be exploring themes of ageing and bodies with older participants. Writer Noelle Brown, collaborates with director Oonagh Murphy, choreographer Emma O'Kane and vocal improvisational musician Cliona Cassidy. Join the makers for an informal 30 minute work-in-progress sharing in the Gallery at the Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire at 4 pm on Tuesday 31st May. 31st May Creaking is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland and commissioned by the Pavilion Theatre Dun Laoghaire. Venue kindly provided by Pavilion Theatre is the Gallery space upstairs in the venue.
